Different brands release different models for different countries and regions. Honda has introduced a new model to this lineup. Honda Elevate, which will be a perfect price-performance product, has been introduced. This affordable compact SUV offers many promises to its users. Here are the technical specifications and price of Honda Elevate…
Affordable, compact, electric SUV: Honda Elevate!
Honda is known for its small SUV crossover models such as HR-V and ZR-V. Elevate has been added to this lineup. Elevate is not only an affordable SUV but also an electric vehicle with the same features. And that is enough to make the Elevate model stand out.
Actually, Honda Elevate is a special model for the Indian market. Honda made a long-term planning for the Elevate model, which it will release with its affordable price policy. After the launch, the model will be presented to users with a gasoline version first, followed by an electric version within the next 3 years. The model may cause a redistribution of the cards in the Indian SUV market.
The vehicle is classified as a mid-sized crossover in the Indian market. It is a car of sufficient size for that region. This also makes it closer to the European model HR-V rather than the ZR-V, which is exclusive to the American market. Elevate offers “sufficient” safety equipment for the Indian market and is considered a class leader with its 458-liter trunk capacity.
Looking at the design details, we are greeted with a sharp, straight design on the front and rear. This design language, called a masculine stance, has given the car a slightly rougher appearance. The front features a large grille that may look a bit funny in the electric version.
The internal combustion version has a 1.5-liter i-Vtec engine. With this unit, the car produces 119 horsepower. Although there is only one engine option, there are both 6-speed manual and automatic CVT transmission options. The budget-friendly model also offers features such as an electric sunroof, wireless charging, and a fully touch multimedia screen. As for the price, there is no announcement yet.
The only information we have is that Honda will start taking orders immediately after announcing the price lists in July. So, what do you think? Don’t forget to share your opinions in the comments section…
